Description
Albon Boluses for Cattle is a convenient dosage form of sulfadimethoxine to be used in the treatment of foot rot, bacterial pneumonia, shipping fever and calf diphtheria in cattle. It is a rapidly absorbed, long-acting sulfonamide. It is also effective against some strains of Strep, Staph, Klebsiella, Shigella, Proteus, E. coli and Salmonella. Sulfadimethoxine is the active ingredient.
Dosage: 5 gm.-1 per 200 lbs. first day; 15 gm.-1 per 600 lbs. first day (reduce dose by 1/2 after 1st day).
