WEST NILE-INNOVATOR vaccines help prevent viremia viremia caused by West Nile virus: equine encephalomyelitis due to Eastern, Western and Venezuelan viruses; and tetanus. West Nile virus is fatal in 33% of horses that exhibit clinical signs of the disease.1 Vaccination is the most effective way to help protect horses against West Nile virus and other mosquito-borne diseases, such as Eastern equine encephalomyelitis (EEE) virus and Western equine encephalomyelitis (WEE) virus. In a study, vaccinated horses were 30 times less likely to contract West Nile virus.2
