Best Use Tips:
-Ideal for grazing livestock on either native pasture or improved pasture where mineral deficiencies (especially calcium, phosphorus, salt, zinc) may exist.
-Because salt is already included at very high levels (44-47% NaCl), do not offer additional free-choice plain salt when feeding this product.
-Monitor intake – major deviation (much higher consumption) may indicate inadequate forage or other issues.
-Provide in a location close to water or high traffic area so intake is consistent and consumption is easier to monitor.
-Protect the mineral from the elements (rain, snow, wind) by using a covered trough or placing in a shelter — granular form can degrade or wash out.
-Because the Ca:P ratio is approx. 2:1, ensure other feed sources and forages complement this ratio (especially for growing, lactating, or breeding animals).
