NEW! Organic Chandler Strawberry Plants.Fragaria ssp.Excellent sweet flavor, very large berries and high yields!  A June-bearing (Short day) type which produces early-season to mid-season over a 3-4 week period.Very well adapted to the West, Southeast and East.  Grows well in Zones 5-8 though Chandler has done well for us in Maine Zone 4 inside our high tunnel greenhouse. Recommended for home gardens, Pick-Your-Own and roadside stands. Very good for freezing.  Needs well-drained soil.  Tolerant of gray mold.
