The portasol® Dehorner III is portable (cordless), refillable, gas-powered dehorner enabled for quick and effective dehorning for up to 45 minutes. It heats up in four minutes to a maximum temperature of 1200° F. It kills horn growth and controls bleeding by cauterizing the blood vessels while minimizing the potential for infection. Can be used on calves, goats and sheep.
