- Plant outdoors in warm, rich, well-drained soil in spring after last frost, or indoors three weeks before last frost date. Germinates poorly in soil temperatures below 70°F. Water consistently and feed monthly with a side dressing of compost or vegetable fertilizer.
- Harvest when shells are thumbnail hard. Cut from vine, leaving a 1″ handle. Cure outside for 7-10 days but do not allow fruits to freeze. Store in a cool, dry location.
