Delicata Squash

With a unique oblong shape and coloring, this squash is a great addition to any vegetable garden. The flesh inside has a nutty flavor and smooth texture, that is best served roasted with butter and brown sugar.

When and where to plant

Select sunny location and plant in late spring when soil is warm and danger of frost is past. Cultivate and enrich soil with vegetable food and organic matter. Firm soil over seed.

Care

Water heavily and frequently. Feed every 3-4 weeks.

Harvesting

To ensure steady supply, pick continuously when fruits are young, tender and easily punctured.
