Quoddy Blend™ Organic & Natural Compost with Lobster & Crab is the ideal soil amendment for maintaining gardens, beds, borders, and as a base for over-seeding and repairing lawns. It is carefully formulated to provide the balance between structure, water retention, drainage and aeration needed for growing vegetables, annual and perennial flowers, trees and shrubs as well as lawns. It provides your garden and grounds all the rich and diverse soil they need.
Quoddy Blend is a naturally lightweight, dark rich soil made from compost, sphagnum peat moss, aged bark, and lobster and crab meal. The lobster we use comes from the cold, dark waters of the Downeast coast of Maine and the Bay of Fundy. Lobster shells make an exceptional addition to this all-purpose soil amendment. It is OMRI listed for organic use.
