1. Remove — pull any existing weeds around trees, shrubs, xeriscapes, and perennial beds first.

3. Integrate — rake the granules into the top layer of soil, mulch, or stone.

When to Apply

Apply up to two times per year around established plants and transplants. Make the first application any time during the growing season — spring, summer, or fall. For ongoing protection, make a second seasonal application two to six months after the first. When planting or transplanting into an area treated within the past 12 months, use fresh soil to fill in planting holes around the roots, or injury may occur. Avoid disturbing the soil surface after activation, which can result in erratic weed control.
