Coast of Maine has created this Dark Bark using pine and spruce bark. The color is naturally rich, and dark due to having been naturally aged for several years. This results in the bark having a finer texture, and being denser because it has already begun to break down. These qualities help retain moisture and suppress weed growth. An added bonus of being a 100% natural product is that this mulch does not contain any dyes so the color will not fade!
