One of the things that makes Michael CarrPottery special is that it is hand made by skilled craftsmen. Each piece isindividually glazed, giving it unique color and runs. Fired in an old-worldkiln also contributes to the one-of-a-kind finish. This large owl isintricately detailed and hand painted. Each feather has to be individuallypainted at least 3 times. There is the brown base, followed by hand brushing ablack feather and followed again by the white highlights on each feather.
